What you get when you work with me

In-house experience

My background as an in-house translator at the Nursing School of Coimbra and the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra gives me the knowledge to manage complex content within tight deadlines – whether you are addressing healthcare professionals, patients, or the general population.

Continuing professional development

I keep up with new therapeutic areas, concepts, and terminology by constantly improving my scientific knowledge, as well as my writing and project management skills. During my time working in-house, I benefited from privileged access to specialized resources and insight from experts. Over the years, I’ve developed my skills through hands-on experience, self-study, and training.

Community involvement

I am actively involved in the professional community by training other specialists, speaking at conferences, and publishing on health communication. This keeps me at the forefront of emerging practices and connected to a wide network of peers and experts.

Outcome-driven approach

I focus on making sure every deliverable is clear, fit for purpose, and aligned with my client's goals, whether that means supporting regulatory approval, engaging and empowering patients, or informing healthcare professionals.

Trusted partnership

My clients value not only the precision of my work but also the reliability, confidentiality, and collaboration I bring to every project.

Patient advocacy perspective

Living with Crohn’s disease and working closely with patient associations has given me first-hand insight into the importance of clear, trustworthy health communication. This experience helps me bring empathy and real-world awareness to every project – ensuring that content speaks not only to regulators and professionals, but also to patients and caregivers.
