Patient advocacy perspective
Living with Crohn’s disease and working closely with patient associations has given me first-hand insight into the importance of clear, trustworthy health communication. This experience helps me bring empathy and real-world awareness to every project – ensuring that content speaks not only to regulators and professionals, but also to patients and caregivers.

I am a member of professional associations and networks that promote excellence in medical translation, medical writing, and localization.
I currently serve as Vice-President of the Portuguese Medical Writers Association (APMW) and Marketing Manager of Women in Localization Portugal Chapter (WLPT).
I am also a member of organizations and initiatives that promote health literacy, patient empowerment, and clinical trial awareness, as well as patient associations that support people living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
